Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent says there’s no rush for a new contract but “often speaks” to Napoli.
It was reported today that a renewal for the defender is close, but his representative believes it’ll take a little time.
“I often go to Castelvolturno, not just to talk and negotiate,” Bruno Satin explained to Radio Crc.
“The last time I went there was to see Kalidou’s son. Even though it’s early to talk about a renewal, the Neapolitans should be calm.

“The last time I went there was to see Kalidou’s son. Even though it’s early to talk about a renewal, the Neapolitans should be calm.
“I often speak with [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli, we’re in contact and not only for Koulibaly but also because while Napoli haven’t won the Scudetto, they’ll be in the Champions League next season and they need to build a strong team.
“The market dictates price, but Kalidou has quality and is young. All big clubs know my client, and could come knocking, that’s football.
“He’s not preoccupied though, he’s just concentrating on the pitch. His son has given Kalidou a new stimulus, and I’m sure he’ll be even better thanks to him.”
The Vesuviani face arguably their biggest game of the season so far this weekend, when they travel to Turin to face Juventus.
“Juventus will have some players out and Napoli will have to try to take advantage.
“Above all I hope the Azzurri will go out there without fear and play openly, trying to cause problems for the opponent.
“[Paulo] Dybala is doing very well, he’s a fantastic talent, but on Saturday he’ll face a play [Koulibaly] who isn’t willing to give him an inch.
“Napoli are fired-up, the squad has leaders like [Pepe] Reina and young players with great enthusiasm.
“They’re ready for the big test at Juventus Stadium.”
