Fiorentina forward Christian Kouamé is reportedly set for a move to Anderlecht on a paid loan for 2021-22.

The striker, who didn’t manage to make an impact at the Artemio Franchi after his move from Genoa, will try to relaunch in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports the two parties have reached an agreement over a paid loan worth €1m ahead of the new campaign.

Kouamé played 43 games with the Viola and arrived in Florence recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.

The 23-year-old, capped four times by Ivory Coast, has only played in Italy so far and his contract with Fiorentina expires in 2024.

Kouamé has experience from the youth teams of Sassuolo and Inter, before moving from Prato to Cittadella in July 2017.

He then joined Genoa the following season and scored five times in 11 Serie A games before suffering the serious knee injury in 2019-20.
