Filip Kostic was fired up following his arrival at Juventus, expressing his desire to impress and his excitement at playing alongside Dusan Vlahovic.

The 29-year-old Serbian winger officially signed for the Bianconeri earlier today, putting pen to paper on a four-year contract. Kostic is a much needed arrival for Massimiliano Allegri, adding a creative and hardworking element to the left side of the pitch.

Speaking to Juventus’ media outlets, Kostic first reacted following his arrival in Turin.

“It’s a special day for me. I’m very happy, this morning when I was waiting to come here I was very excited and I can’t wait to train with the team and play in front of our fans.”

He touched on why he decided to join the Bianconeri.

“It’s not very difficult to say yes to Juventus.”

The 29-year-old commented on his happiness at the prospect of playing alongside Vlahovic.

“I’ve already spoken with Dusan, I’m happy that he is part of the team. He’s one of the best strikers, it’s nice to play with him.”

Kostic underlined his belief that this was a decisive moment in his career.

“Yes, of course, I’ve given everything and worked hard for it. I think I deserve Juventus. When a club like this comes along, then, it’s always the right time.”

He spoke about what he’ll bring to Allegri’s Juventus squad.

“I can bring a lot of quality, I’ll try. I’ll give everything for the Bianconeri.”

The Serbian winger touched on why he provides so many assists for his teammates.

“I like to play like that, then it depends on what the coach wants and what is the best thing for the team. If it’s good for the team, I will do it to the best of my ability.”

Finally, Kostic sent a message to the Juventus fans.

“Hello Bianconeri, I’m very happy to be here. See you soon on the pitch.”

Kostic proved himself to be one of the best creative outlets in Europe over the last few years with Eintracht Frankfurt, providing 64 assists in 171 appearances for the club.
