Filip Kostic thanked Dusan Vlahovic for the assist and hopes to repay his Juventus and Serbia teammate after their 3-0 win over Bologna.
It was a sorely-needed win and performance for the Old Lady, who had previously won just two of their nine competitive matches between Serie A and the Champions League.
The switch to a 4-4-2 formation worked well, with Kostic getting his first goal for the club, then Vlahovic added a header to his assist before the stunning Arkadiusz Milik volley.
“My first goal I am very happy because this game is very important for us, these three points. Now we need to continue, to go hard, to believe,” Kostic told DAZN.
Vlahovic provided the assist, but the pair had already combined in the Nations League for Serbia a few days ago.
“I do a good job with Dusan, I thanked him for the assist and I hope I can give one back next time.”
This result means Juventus climb to seventh place, one point ahead of historic rivals Inter, despite the disastrous September performances.
“Our fans are always important for us. Now we need to forget everything that happened in the last month, we need to look forward and prepare for the next match in the Champions League.”
