Juventus are still pushing to agree a deal with Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners and are willing to include a third player to help lower the costs.
The Bianconeri have long since identified the 26-year-old Dutch midfielder as one of their top targets ahead of the summer transfer window, believing him to be the perfect fit for Thiago Motta’s new project in the Piedmont capital.
Juventus have been in talks with Atalanta for a little while now and have already offered up Dean Huijsen and Samuel Iling-Junior in an attempt to lower the cash costs of a deal, but they’re still far off the Bergamo outfit’s €60-70m valuation, forcing them to alter their plans a little.
Koopmeiners offer evolves
Page eight of today’s Tuttosport underlines how Juventus are now willing to include a third player in a possible deal with Atalanta for Koopmeiners, open to sending Moise Kean to Bergamo alongside Huijsen and Iling-Junior.
Gian Piero Gasperini is a fan of the Italian striker, who’d be willing to leave Turin in order to play Champions League football somewhere else.
Koopmeiners is already ready to head off to Juventus, having agreed a contract worth around €4m net per season plus add-ons.
