Geoffrey Kondogbia will reportedly renew his contract with Inter before he joins Valencia on loan.

According to Calciomercato.com, Kondogbia has agreed an extension until 2021, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

Presumably, this is to ensure leverage for the Nerazzurri if the midfielder does not complete a permanent transfer to Valencia next summer.

The website adds Kondogbia’s agent-brother Evans is on his way to Spain, where he will finalise the terms of his younger sibling’s switch.
