Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia believes Juventus are still favourites for the Scudetto, and discusses his friendship with Paul Pogba.

The Nerazzurri have won their first two Serie A games, while the defending champions have lost consecutive matches.

However, the 22-year-old believes it will still be difficult to finish above the Old Lady and his good friend Pogba.

“Pogba and I will never be enemies,” Kondogbia told Sky.

“Pogba and I will never be enemies,” Kondogbia told Sky.

“I think our friendship is stronger than football. The fact remains that we’re both professionals. When we face Juventus I’ll do everything to be better than Paul, and he’ll have the same attitude to me.

“It’s a healthy rivalry, nothing more than that. It’s true that so far we have six points more than them, because we started well, but Juventus are still favourites.”

Kondogbia was also asked for his thoughts on another Bianconeri midfielder, new signing Mario Lemina.

“I know him very well, we won the Under-20s World Cup together. He can be very useful both defensively and going forward.”
