In a long interview with Il Corriere dello Sport, he was asked how he felt about the €30m plus bonuses that Inter paid for him.
“It doesn't change a thing for me, I'm not the one who paid,” he said.

In a long interview with Il Corriere dello Sport, he was asked how he felt about the €30m plus bonuses that Inter paid for him.
“It doesn't change a thing for me, I'm not the one who paid,” he said.
“It neither pressures nor incentivizes me. Though I'm aware that there are high expectations on me, and also great trust in my potential.
“But nowadays prices like these are common at these levels.”
Inevitably, the 22-year-old was asked how he compares with Juventus ace Pogba.
“I'm different from Pogba, I don't have much to do with him. We're similar from a physical point of view, but that's it.
“I've got my own personality and my characteristics. I can do well in linking the defence with the offence and I like to start from the back and then move on ahead.
“My objective? A continuous personal progress. I can improve in many ways and Italy at this point is the best place to develop.
“Being here is important for me, for my career and for my life.
“I want to reach my peak, become one of those players that are at the top of Europe and the world, what else could I or should I want from my career?”
Finally, Kondogbia was asked whether he was afraid of not making it in such a challenging environment.
“I fear nothing. I know that I'm a player of a high level, I'm conscious of what I am and the type of player I am, but also of what I lack. But fear? Not at all.”
