Spanish reports claim Valencia might not be in a financial position to buy Geoffrey Kondogbia outright from Inter.
The midfielder was sent out on loan in the summer and impressed, contributing three goals and one assist in 20 Liga appearances.
Kondogbia is also content with Los Che and the idea had been to activate the €25m option to buy.
However, Marca now claim that the club’s finances are too stretched to afford the transfer, even if they do qualify for the Champions League.
