Liveblog: Conference League semi-final Leicester City vs. Roma

Away goals no longer count double, but UEFA have brought in VAR technology for the semi-final and Final stages of this tournament.

It’s ahead of schedule, as it was only meant to be used for the Final.

Roma have Zaniolo back from a minor injury, having scored a hat-trick in the quarter-final against Bodo/Glimt, where he and Pellegrini support England international striker Abraham.

Zaniolo’s inclusion pushes Sergio Oliveira onto the bench in a 3-5-2 formation, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Bryan Cristante pulling the strings.

Leicester City had started the campaign in the Europa League and dropped down into the Conference League, having finished third in their group behind Spartak Moscow and Napoli.

They squeezed through the quarter-final against PSV Eindhoven thanks to two late goals.

Boubakary Soumare is back in the squad after injury, leaving only Wilfred Ndidi and Ryan Bertrand on the treatment table.

Jamie Vardy famously took them to the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri and he is in the starting XI after recovering from a knee injury.

Former Atalanta full-back Timothy Castagne starts too.
