Inter announce Roberto Gagliardini has sustained a knee injury with a strain of the collateral medial ligament.
The former Atalanta midfielder underwent tests today, which confirmed a sprain to the right knee.
He sustained the injury during yesterday’s training session.
It is only a strain to the collateral medial ligament and there are no lesions, but he will nonetheless be out for several days.
The club statement notes he will be evaluated again next week.
Inter are playing against Crotone in a pre-season friendly which kicks off at the Appiano Gentile ground today at 17.00 UK time.
