Justin Kluivert is edging closer to joining Fulham on loan with an option to buy, so Andrea Belotti could arrive in the capital by the weekend, reports in Italy claim.

Il Gallo is José Mourinho’s priority target in attack as the ex-Torino captain could partner Tammy Abraham or act as a back-up for the England international.

Roma director Tiago Pinto has recently met the striker’s agent and has an agreement in principle with the Italy international.

However, the Giallorossi are working on sales before signing Belotti, who is available as a free agent after the end of his contract with Torino on June 30.

As per Calciomercato.com, Kluivert is one of those who could make room for Belotti, joining Fulham on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

Felix Afena-Gyan is also likely to leave with Cremonese interested, while Bologna remain interested in Eldor Shomurodov.

Belotti only wants to join Roma and has reportedly snubbed offers from Galatasaray and OGC Nice. According to the report, Belotti could be available against Cremonese on Monday if Roma part ways with two of their strikers by the weekend. Kluivert is on his way to Fulham, then it will be Felix or Shomurodov’s turn.

  1. Let’s go boys!!!! What a time to be a Roma fan. For once in nearly 20 years it seems as if Roma has a trustworthy management team and owner in place who actually cares about the success of the team. Forza Roma!

  2. Shomorodo should not be sold give him more playing time I believe he has something to offer.

  3. Honestly don’t want to see Eldor leave. He can contribute to our Scudetto push this year imo and he adds a great threat when used.
