Miroslav Klose got the decisive goal as Lazio earned a 1-0 friendly victory away to Nice.

The Biancocelesti continued pre-season preparations at the Stade Municipal du Ray this evening.

Ederson turned a free header over the bar in the opening minutes, but Klose broke through by getting himself on the end of an Abdoulay Konko cross from the right.

Federico Marchetti had to be alert on a deflected Cvitanich strike, while the friendly got decidedly heated with a brawl on the touchline after Senad Lulic reacted angrily to a foul.

Lucas Biglia thought he’d made it 2-0 before the break, but his diving header was ruled offside.

Lazio moved to a 4-4-2 system for the second half and Marchetti was called upon again to stop Cvitanich and Kolodziejczak.

An Antonio Candreva cross was fumbled for a desperate clearance and Sergio Floccari drilled wide. In stoppages substitute Lazio goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri rescued the win with a save on Amavi.
