According to the pink paper, the Reds’ boss Klopp is particularly interested in Chiesa. The German tactician is a long-time admirer of the 25-year-old who has two years left in his contract in Turin.
Chiesa’s agent has reportedly demanded a new €7m-a-year deal, plus €1m bonuses, a sum that Juventus ‘can’t and don’t want to afford’ claims Gazzetta.
Therefore, Chiesa’s sale is on the cards especially considering that the Bianconeri need circa €100m to compensate for the lack of Champions League revenues in 2023-24.
According to Gazzetta, Liverpool value Chiesa at €40-45m, while Juventus’ asking price is circa €60m.
