Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp revealed Mohamed Salah tested negative for coronavirus and will undergo the required tests ahead of Atalanta.
The Orobici face Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League this week and Salah seemed set to miss out due to COVID-19.
But after the 3-0 win against Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday, Klopp said the Egypt international had tested negative.
“That’s what I’ve heard, a negative today,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “I think from now he’s pretty normal in all the testing.
