Milan: Kjaer’s new salary revealed

After a 1-0 win over Torino on Tuesday, Milan are first in Serie A, three points above Napoli, who play Bologna on Thursday night.

The Denmark international has signed a two-year extension with the Diavolo, as his previous deal was due to expire in June 2022.

And the veteran defender, who spoke to MilanTV about his time at the club, hailed Pioli’s impact at Milanello.

“I have a great relationship with him, he has great faith in me, and this allows me to give my all,” Kjaer told MilanTV.

“I didn’t know hum before I met him here. He starts every day with a smile, he always asks everyone how they feel.

“This is important, if there’s a person who gives everything for Milan, it’s the coach. He’s always present and always gives his all.”

The 32-year-old, capped 117 times by Denmark, has appeared in eight competitive games this season and recently signed a deal until June 2024.

Kjaer has played 66 competitive games since joining the Rossoneri from Sevilla and has established himself as a key member of the Diavolo.
