Simon Kjaer gave honest answers after Milan’s 2-1 win over Genoa: ‘We keep conceding, excuse the language here, really s****y goals.’
The Rossoneri managed a 2-1 win over Genoa, returning to winning ways at the San Siro after over two months.
“This victory counts more than three points. It was not normal to be without a home win in seven games. We suffered a little in the second half today and we had to kill off the game earlier,” the Danish defender told DAZN.
“It’s a step forward compared to the last few games,” he added.
The former Palermo man came close to scoring his first goal in a red and black shirt and performed a goal-line clearance in the final minutes.
“I prefer that to score. I hit the woodwork a few times, but as I said, winning is the most important thing.
“We keep conceding, excuse the language here, really s****y goals. Sometimes it happens. There are other periods when things go well.”
Milan are now seven points clear of fifth-placed Napoli.
“We need to push, we have seven finals ahead of us, and we want to bring Milan where we belong,” Kjaer concluded.
