Bologna are not the only Serie A side interested in Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, as Inter are also ready to make an approach.

The Poland international is no stranger to Italian football, as he shot to fame with Spezia and earned a €19.5m transfer to London in January 2023.

However, he has struggled for any kind of regular playing time with the Gunners, making only 38 appearances, despite contributing two goals and three assists.

The 24-year-old was mentioned as a potential makeweight in the Arsenal offer for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, though he rejected the move, as he wanted a more ambitious side.

Inter can convince Kiwior

Now La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Inter have joined the race and are asking for Kiwior to strengthen their defence.

It could only be a loan with option to buy, as Tajon Buchanan is out for four to five months after fracturing his leg playing for Canada at the Copa America.

With Carlos Augusto re-routed to left wing-back, Inter are looking for a left-footed defender who could also play on the left if required.

Milan and Juventus had also shown interest in Kiwior.
