Juventus have confirmed Sami Khedira will be out of action for ‘approximately two months’ with a thigh injury.

The German international joined the Bianconeri this summer on a free transfer from Real Madrid, but pulled up with an injury in the friendly with Marseille on Saturday.

“Sami Khedira will be sidelined for approximately two months after medical examinations revealed a second-grade myotendinous tear of the rectus femoris muscle in his right thigh,” the Old Lady confirmed in a statement.
