It’s reported Sami Khedira could be given a two-year extension to his Juventus contract, to ward off Premier League interest.

The midfielder is a key component of Massimiliano Allegri’s side, and scored nine goals this season, as well as providing five assists.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2019, and with the imminent arrival of Emre Can it was assumed he’d move on, with Khedira said to be keen to try the Premier League.

Now though Tuttosport is reporting that Allegri’s decision to stay could also see the German international remain, with Juve ready to offer him a new contract.

The new deal would take him up to 2021, according to the newspaper.
