Sami Khedira returned to training with Juventus this week, but the Bianconeri reportedly continue to seek an agreement to terminate his deal in Turin.

The German midfielder seems set to move this summer, as Juventus continue to cut wages at Continassa, where Khedira was back in training today after the latest injury setback.

He was partially involved when Andrea Pirlo oversaw the team’s first session this week, but his recovery will probably not change the outcome for the 33-year-old.

Khedira arrived on a free transfer from Real Madrid five years ago and his contract expires in June 2021, but the former Stuttgart player has an option for a further year with the Old Lady.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reveals Juventus are still hoping to reach an agreement with the veteran to end his stay one year early.

Khedira, who has played 145 competitive games for the club, will reportedly be offered a severance pay to terminate his deal and his last day at Juve is getting closer.
