Cristiano Ronaldo’s good friend and former MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov said he knew ‘for a month’ that the striker would move from Juventus to Manchester United. ‘It suits him better’.

The former mixed martial arts artist released a statement saying he knew his friend Ronaldo would re-join Manchester United after three years at the Old Lady.

Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018 but towards the end of the transfer market the 36-year-old completed a return to Old Trafford.

“The negotiation didn’t surprise me, Cristiano Ronaldo told me about it a month ago,” Khabib told Rsport in Russia.

“And I expected that sooner or later this agreement would be found. I think Manchester United suits him better than Juve.”

The Portugal captain will join his new teammates after the break and recently set a new world record on international duty.

CR7’s towering headers turned around the game against the Republic of Ireland and took his goal tally to 111.

Ronaldo left Juventus after scoring 101 goals in 134 competitive appearances, winning two Scudetti, one Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Turin.

  1. Football Italia seriously. Take a very big obvious hint from all of us readers of your site. Stop with the Ronaldo articles please! He’s left Serie A now so we dont care. As Marco said, get over it and move on!!

  2. And you should explain how Manchester UTD suits him more than JUVE. A new club always suits them more than the old. Mendes has been trying to place him somewhere for weeks. UTD only signed him because Man City got involved its not that they wanted him, so it’s just ridiculous all these hypes and carnival around his arrival like they have been looking for him for months. If he didn’t leave JUVE he knows under Allegri he will likely start from the bench often or get substituted a lot and he doesn’t like that, so he has to go. That’s it, let him go and play in England.

  3. This is funny. When Pep told him he couldn’t guarantee anything…he switched to UTD. Ya, ya…his legacy at UTD, Sir Alex, etc…whatever.

  4. We truly do not need to hear about him anymore. Let it go, Serie A “journalists” must stop associatong with him
