Milan midfielder Franck Kessie returns immediately from the Olympics in Tokyo to join the Rossoneri squad.

The Ivory Coast international’s international duties with Ivory Coast ended after the elimination in the quarter-finals of Tokyo 2020.

MilanNews reports the midfielder will not have an extended holiday and returns immediately to Milanello, making himself available for coach Stefano Pioli.

Ivory Coast lost 5-2 against Spain in the quarter-finals of the men’s competition and Kessie returns to prepare for the 2021-22 season.

He recently spoke about his future in the fashion capital, insisting that he wants to resolve the contract issues and commit to the Diavolo.
