Barcelona have not given up their hopes of snatching Marcelo Brozovic from Inter, trying to offer Franck Kessie as part of the deal so he’ll snub Al-Nassr.

The Croatia international is now widely expected to leave this summer after seven years at San Siro.

However, his destination is still somewhat up in the air, as Sportitalia report that Brozovic is by no means convinced by the idea of going to play for Saudi club Al-Nassr.

Barcelona remain in the running, as coach Xavi sees Brozovic as an ideal heir to Sergio Busquets in that midfield.

According to Spanish paper Diario AS, the Blaugrana believe they have an ace up their sleeve to convince Inter in the form of an exchange deal with Kessie.

The former Milan midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a return to the other side of San Siro in recent months and that rumour is back at the forefront this afternoon.

Brozovic is only 30 years old and does not feel quite ready to move to the Saudi Pro League yet.
