Inter then have an option to buy at the end of the season for another €34m, with the player agreeing a five-year contract.

It was set to be an exchange with Antonio Candreva, but the Italy international is not convinced about the move, so the clubs decided to split the two negotiations.

Keita only left Serie A 12 months ago, as Lazio sold him to Monaco for €30m.

This move happened at the end of lengthy negotiations with Inter and Juventus, but Lazio preferred to sell him abroad.

The 23-year-old scored eight goals and provided 11 assists in 33 competitive matches for Monaco.
