Moise Kean managed to get himself sent off 40 seconds after stepping onto the field as a substitute for Juventus against Roma, but incredibly it is still not the Serie A record.

The Italy international was introduced by coach Max Allegri at the 89th minute and lasted precisely 40 seconds before he saw red for a reaction foul on Gianluca Mancini.

Remarkably, this is not the fastest ever dismissal in Serie A, because the record belongs to Giuseppe Lorenzo, who managed 10 seconds in for Bologna on December 9, 1990 before he saw red for elbowing Parma legend Luigi Apolloni.

Kean was also beaten to the punch by Giulio Migliaccio, who lasted 32 seconds for Atalanta in the 3-0 win over Palermo on December 6, 2015.

This was the first red card of Kean’s Serie A career, but he was dismissed for Everton in an EFL Cup win away to Huddersfield on August 24, 2021.
