Juventus showed a number of positive signs in their 3-1 pre-season friendly win over Real Madrid at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

The Bianconeri have been on a tour in the United States since July 21. Their friendly against Barcelona was cancelled due to a bout of illness in the Blaugrana squad and they edged out victory against Milan after a penalty shoot-out.

In front of over 63,000 fans, Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus took to the pitch against Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, keen to flex their muscles in their final friendly of the US tour, which comes to an end today.

The Bianconeri started the match on the front foot and took the lead after just a minute through Moise Kean. They maintained this momentum and in the 20th minute Timothy Weah doubled their advantage, going 2-0 up.

Real Madrid clawed one back in the closing stages of the first half, with Vinicius Junior making things 2-1 in the 38th minute.

The second half was a different story for Juventus, who played a more defensive game following their round of changes. The Spanish side pushed for an equaliser, but the Old Lady held firm, maintaining their one-goal advantage.

Dusan Vlahovic closed out the match in the 95th minute, securing a good 3-1 win for Juventus, who saw a number of positive signs ahead of the coming campaign.
