Italy international Moise Kean will be suspended for two European matches after his red card during the Conference League play-off first leg against Ukrainian outfit Polissya last Thursday, UEFA have confirmed.
Kean handed two match ban for Conference League elbow
Kean had an eventful opening 45 minutes in Fiorentina’s victory over Polissya, which included a goal, assist and a sending off all before the half-time interval.
The former Juventus striker was shown a straight red for an elbow on his opponent after being held and having his hair pulled.

UEFA did not find sufficient evidence to give Kean a full three-match ban for violent conduct, but have still opted to hand him a two-match suspension.
That means that he will be unavailable to Stefano Pioli for the second leg of the Conference League play-off tie against Polissya this coming Thursday, and will also be suspended for the first match of the tournament proper assuming that Fiorentina qualify.
Fiorentina are strong favorites to qualify regardless. Given that they picked up a 3-0 win away against Polissya last time out, they can still afford to lose by two goals at home in the return leg and still qualify.
