Kean: ‘Juventus don’t fear PSG in Champions League draw’

Moise Kean assures ‘Juventus do not fear anyone’ in the Champions League Round of 16, including his former Paris Saint-Germain teammates.

The striker had three goals in nine Champions League games for PSG last season while on loan from Everton, but tonight’s header to beat Malmo 1-0 was his first in the competition for Juve.

Champions League | Juventus 1-0 Malmo: Kean and Zenit give Juve group

Thanks to this result and the last-gasp Zenit 3-3 draw with Chelsea, Juventus go through as group winners and will be seeded in the Round of 16 draw.

“It’s very satisfying for us to go through as group winners, now this gives us motivation to work even harder and be ready for the final stages of the tournament,” Kean told Sky Sport Italia.

The striker was asked who the Bianconeri wanted to avoid in the next round of the competition, including Kean’s old teammates at PSG.

“Juventus do not fear anyone, we are a great team and we’ll be ready for whatever awaits us. I am here at Juventus now, I feel at home.”

The Italy international was named Man of the Match by UEFA for his goal against Malmo.

“This is just the start, it’s huge motivation for me to work even harder and give more to the team.”
