Juventus striker Moise Kean is the latest player to join a list of injury doubts in the Italy national team set-up, following the news that Manuel Locatelli has been sent home from camp and that several others were not involved in training on Monday.

According to reports on Monday evening, Kean only took part in a fraction of Luciano Spalletti’s first training session of the international break.

He was spotted arriving on the training pitch with a bandage over his left shin according to information provided by TMW

Recent reports indicate that Kean is in contention to start up front for Italy in the upcoming matches against North Macedonia and Ukraine, but this will depend on his physical state come kick-off.

Elsewhere, Locatelli has returned home from national team training with a fractured rib.

Spalletti also reported in his recent press conference that Andrea Cambiaso is managing an ankle injury, whilst Roma’s Bryan Cristante has muscular fatigue, meaning both must be closely monitored during the first few days of the international break.
