Kean ‘discussing new contract’

Moise Kean’s brother confirms Juventus don’t want him to leave and they have “already talked about a new contract.”

The 18-year-old striker is struggling for playing time in Turin and has been targeted by numerous clubs for a permanent or even loan move, above all Ajax.

“My brother does have many friends in the Netherlands, is in contact with Justin Kluivert and Matthijs de Ligt, who he knows from their time at international youth level,” Giovanni Kean told the Corriere di Torino newspaper.

“Moise is happy to have so many teams looking for him, but if a top club like Juve says ‘you are not leaving here,’ it can only make you proud.

“I can confirm we have already talked about a new contract with Juventus. It’s a show of faith, as Juve must believe in him, otherwise they would already have let him go.

“I always told him not to listen to rumours, but to focus on what the club is doing for him.”
