Juventus are preparing for Sunday’s Serie A match against Monza without the suspended Arek Milik. Here’s what Max Allegri could change at the U-Power Stadium.

The Bianconeri have only won two games from eight this season and lost both their opening Champions League group stage fixtures.

Pressure is mounting on Allegri who still feels ‘part of the solution’ and not the problem. The Bianconeri will face Monza at the U-Power Stadium on Sunday, meeting their former winger Raffaele Palladino who has been promoted following Giovanni Stroppa’s sacking this week.

Wojciech Szczesny is expected to return to action after joining the team for the entire training session at Continassa on Thursday. He should be available and it remains to be seen if he’ll be fit to start.

Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Manuel Locatelli and Alex Sandro are still injured, Arek Milik is suspended, but Adrien Rabiot could return. The ex-PSG man has been included in the France squad for the upcoming National league games, but missed the last two Juve games due to an injury.

According to Tuttosport, Allegri will deploy a 4-3-3 formation with Angel Di Maria, Dusan Vlahovic and Filip Kostic up front, but Gazzetta claims the Italian tactician will stick to a 3-5-2 formation.

According to the pink paper, Di Maria is still not fit to start, so Moise Kean will get the nod in attack with Vlahovic. Mattia De Sciglio and Kostic would play on the flanks with Nicolò Fagioli or Fabio Miretti in the middle of the park with Weston McKennie and Leandro Paredes. No changes in defence with Leonardo Bonucci, Gleison Bremer and Danilo starting.

Allegri will address the media at a press conference at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday at 1 pm UK time. The Tuscan tactician is also suspended against Monza, so his assistant Marco Landucci will lead the team from the touchline on Sunday.

  1. It does not matter who starts. The 7/9 will start in a coma and end in a 91st minute panic. Monza are hungry and Uncle Fester wants a reaction. No better club to prepare for as the 7/9 and PhD Max do not do reactions. Full zombie ahead for the game on Sunday.
