Rick Karsdorp took to social media to share his disappointment after Roma’s draw with Torino, a match which he wasn’t called up for.

The 27-year-old Dutch full back left the Italian capital with his family yesterday to begin his holidays, leaving a little earlier than his teammates because of his exclusion from the game against the Granata. Jose Mourinho was furious with Karsdorp after the draw with Sassuolo, complaining about his professionalism and suggesting that he leave the club in January.

After the final whistle of Roma’s draw with Torino, Karsdorp posted an Instagram story of a yellow and red heart, accompanied by a crying emoji. Although he was left out of the game, the 27-year-old clearly wanted to share his disappointment at the result, suggesting that he’s not given up hope with the Giallorossi just yet.

Karsdorp has been with Roma since 2017 and made 122 appearances across all competitions for the club. He has recently been linked with a move to Juventus in the upcoming January transfer window.
