Rick Karsdorp has renewed with Roma until June 2025 and said the ‘trust’ shown from the Giallorossi gave his career ‘a new turning point’.

The 26-year-old right-back has played 23 times in Serie A this term, contributing five assists and one goal in the process.

The Dutch defender spent 2019-20 on loan with Feyenoord but has established himself as a regular in Paulo Fonseca’s plans this term.

He has now signed a new deal until June 2025 and thanked La Lupa for the faith.

Roma signed Karsdorp for a reported €16m from Feyenoord in July 2017 and the former Netherlands international has played 45 competitive games for the Giallorossi.
