Yann Karamoh’s agent puts his goal yesterday down to Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti – “he personally spent an hour working on his left foot”.

The young Frenchman scored the winner for the Nerazzurri in their win over Bologna yesterday, curling the ball into the top-corner with his left.

“I knew he was good, but obviously when you first come to Italy it isn’t easy,” Oscar Damiani, Karamoh’s agent, said on Radio Sportiva.

“In the defensive phase it can still be a bit surprising. He has great qualities but he needs to improve, he still doesn’t do as much defensively as Antonio Candreva does and that’s important for Italian Coaches.

“I must acknowledge Luciano Spalletti, who twice stayed behind with him at Appiano and personally spent an hour with him working on his left foot shooting.

“We hope after this very good game he’ll get more space.”
