Genoa could complete their swoop for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Japan international Daichi Kamada this weekend.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the creative midfielder – who turns 23 next month – could arrive today for his medical.

Kamada joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017 and spent last season on loan with Belgian side Sint-Truiden.

It was there that he scored 16 goals and provided nine assists in 36 competitive games.

He had also been linked with Fiorentina and the cost of the operation is believed to be around €5m.
