The 33-year-old scored a goal in Verona’s 2-2 draw against Bologna. It was his second goal this season and the 40th in Serie A in his career.
“I think we played a good game, we picked up a draw and we must continue like this. We don’t want to lose the last game of the season,” Kalinic told Sky Sport Italia.

The Gialloblu face Napoli at the Stadio Maradona next weekend with the Azzurri involved in the race for the Champions League.
“We always want to win, the next game will be important for them and us,” the striker claimed.
“I’ve had many injuries this season, but I’ve been working well. The most important thing is to see the team play well.”
His teammate Dawidowicz has received a call-up to the Poland national team and Kalinic revealed his former coach Paulo Sousa called him to ask for information about the defender.
“He did call me, I told him that he is a good boy who trains accurately, it is thanks to me he got the call-up,” Kalinic said, smiling.
