On from Sao Paulo President Carlos Miguel Aidar stating that they are ‘almost certain’ to sign Kaka this summer, reports in Brazil are that official announcements over the player’s future are looming.
It is understood that the 32-year-old has reached agreement with Orlando City to play for them from March 2015, when they are pushed up to the MLS as part of the North American League’s expansion.
More immediately, though, Kaka is expected to take advantage of a clause that allows him to break his Milan contract this summer, to join Sao Paulo for the eight months prior to that move out to Orlando.
Sao Paulo and Orlando City have recently entered into a partnership agreement.
