Former Milan midfielder Kaka has urged his former club to look at Juventus as an example of how to bounce back from their current plight.

The Rossoneri are currently eighth in Serie A, and finished last season in the same position, missing out on Europe altogether.

The Bianconeri, however, are cruising to a fourth Scudetto in a row, after consecutive seventh-place finishes before the arrival of Antonio Conte, and the Brazilian says that should be an example.

The Bianconeri, however, are cruising to a fourth Scudetto in a row, after consecutive seventh-place finishes before the arrival of Antonio Conte, and the Brazilian says that should be an example.

“I look at the results, and they’re indicative of a season of suffering,” Kaka admitted in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“But I’m optimistic – two or three years of suffering and then they’ll be back. We need to follow the example of Juve.”

The Orlando City star played with current Diavolo Coach Pippo Inzaghi during his first spell at San Siro, and insists he has what it takes to be a Coach.

“Pippo loves football and lives for football. We knew he’d become a Coach, he’s the kind of guy who never missed a game on television.

“For me, he’s followed the right path. One year with the kids, one with the Primavera. Then it came to time to take over a team and it happened to be Milan.

“It would be difficult to say no to such an opportunity [but] maybe the timing wasn’t the best.”
