The Brazilian left Orlando City at the end of the MLS season and hasn’t hung up his boots quite yet.

Meanwhile, he was invited to attend tonight’s 5-1 Europa League victory over Austria Vienna and presented with a special jersey at San Siro.

“It’s a pleasure to be at San Siro on a night like this, as Milan played really well and managed to win despite conceding the early goal,” Kaka told Sky Sport Italia.

“It is an indescribable feeling to be here in Milan, walking in the city where I experienced so many memories in my life. It’s wonderful. I cannot explain the rapport I have with this jersey and this club.

“I have to sort out my professional situation and decide whether to play for another year or not. I didn’t want to make my decision during the season, as I’d like to tune out for a little bit. I’m going on some journeys around Europe and taking my time.

“If I decide not to play anymore, then Milan’s doors would be open and I have a wonderful rapport with the club. I tell the Milan fans to believe. It’s the first year under new ownership, there are many doubts, but anyone who loves this club must believe.”

Kaka also explained how he managed to keep his Italian language skills so pristine so many years after leaving Milan.

“Since Antonio Nocerino joined the team in Orlando, we had a good chat every day in Italian, so he helped me keep it fresh.”
