Juventus would be fighting for survival with their recent Serie A form, as only Frosinone, Salernitana, and Sassuolo earned fewer points in the last eight matches.

The Bianconeri were held to a 0-0 draw by newly promoted side Genoa on Sunday and were booed by their own fans at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus have only earned seven points in the last eight matches, winning one, drawing four and losing three times.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport highlighted, only three clubs, Frosinone (one), Salernitana (two), and Sassuolo (four), earned fewer points in the same period.

Juventus averaged 0.875 points per game in the last eight outings, which makes 33 points in a season if spread over 38 matches. The difference with the first part of the season is enormous, as the Old Lady averaged 2.47 points per game in the opening 21 matches of 2023-24.

Will Juventus sack Allegri?

The last time Juventus had such a poor record in Serie A was between the end of January 2011 and the start of March, when Luigi Delneri was in charge. It was nearly 15 years ago, and the Old Lady also earned seven points in eight games.

Despite Juventus’ disappointing results over the last few weeks, Allegri is not at risk of being sacked, even if the club will make their assessment at the end of the current campaign.
