Juventus are preparing for Adrien Rabiot’s likely departure in the summer and have identified Davide Frattesi as their first choice to replace him, reports detail.

The 27-year-old French midfielder’s contract expires with the Bianconeri in June of this year and he won’t even consider discussing a new contract should the club fail to secure qualification to the Champions League.

On April 19, Juventus will find out their fate as CONI’s Collegio di Garanzia will decide whether or not to accept their appeal against the 15-point deduction handed to them back in January.

As highlighted by Tuttosport, Juventus believe Sassuolo’s Frattesi would be the perfect replacement for Rabiot and they’ve already started to plan some meetings with his entourage.

The 23-year-old Italian midfielder is ready to make the jump to a top club and would be happy to join the Bianconeri even if they missed out on the Champions League.

Roma are also interested in Frattesi and recent reports suggested that Manchester United were closely following him.
