There are doubts regarding Roma forward Tammy Abraham and Juventus duo Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata, which might give Eldor Shomurodov and Moise Kean their big opportunities this weekend.

Juventus host Roma at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday at 19.45 UK time, but some of the big stars are in doubt for the big game.

Abraham returned to Rome and explained he felt good, hoping to be ready for Sunday’s match in Turin.

Abraham injury update: major doubt for Juventus clash

The English striker will be evaluated over the next few days, as he suffered a bruised right heel during international duty with the Three Lions.

The Bianconeri striker Morata also worked separately but there’s still some optimism regarding a return against Jose Mourinho’s men.

Juventus play Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League next week, and Massimiliano Allegri might give the Spanish forward another weekend off to make sure he’s available for the European tie.

Paulo Dybala has stepped up his recovery and should at least be on the bench against La Lupa, while Roma are uncertain if Nicolò Zaniolo can play at the Allianz Stadium.

The Italian has in fact recovered from the muscle problem he suffered against Empoli and should be available to start in the attacking trident with Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Dybala back in training tomorrow, available for Roma

But the uncertainties could give Kean and Shomurodov their big chances to shine with the Bianconeri and the Giallorossi respectively.

Allegri has many solutions, as he has previously shown by playing with Federico Chiesa and Federico Bernardeschi up front, but this could be Kean’s big opportunity to claim a place in the team.

Shomurodov has definitely surpassed Borja Mayoral in the Roma squad, but is still behind Abraham, who even arrived at Trigoria after the former Genoa man.
