All eyes are on the Paul Pogba situation in Serie A but the football has returned after the international break and these Juventus vs. Lazio predictions take a look at what could be an intriguing match-up.
1 – The draw – 23/10
2 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 8/11
3 – Both teams to score –19/20
4 – Ciro Immobile to score at any time – 12/5
5 – A 1-1 draw – 11/2
Serie A gets back to business after the international break and these two sides will be looking to push on after mixed starts to the campaign. Lazio beat Napoli in their most recent game, while Juventus have not been firing on all cylinders so far.
There wasn’t much activity on the transfer front for Juventus in the summer and Max Allegri knows that his side’s absence from European competition makes their Scudetto challenge even more important. But this will be a tough one for the Old Lady.
Although Juve have managed to win fairly easily in both their games away from Turin this season, they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Bologna at the Allianz Stadium – and there could be a similar scoreline this weekend.
Lazio lost both their opening games but came back well to beat Napoli away from home in their final game before the break. That will have filled the Roman club with confidence and a point here cannot be discounted.
Ciro Immobile will, once again, be the main threat for the Biancocelesti – and it was the Lazio striker who scored the first goal of the Luciano Spalletti Azzurri era the other day. He could continue his form with a goal against Juventus on Saturday.
Juve will be tough to beat at home though, so Lazio may have to make do with just the one point from this trip – something that Maurizio Sarri will probably be more than happy with.

Juventus (3-5-2): Perin; Danilo, Bremer, Gatti; Weah, Miretti, Rabiot, Locatelli, Kostić; Vlahović, Milik
Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Marušić, Casale, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Luis Alberto, Cataldi, Guendouzi; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni
Max Allegri will have to get used to not having Paul Pogba to call on it seems, but should put out a familiar-looking line-up on Saturday afternoon. Timothy Weah could get the nod ahead of fellow American Weston McKennie, while Federico Chiesa looks set to miss out after pulling out of the Azzurri squad earlier in the week.
Maurizio Sarri also has little injury or suspension worries. He may look to begin with Matteo Guendouzi in Turin though, after the French midfielder started his Lazio career so well before the break.
