Dusan Vlahovic could equal ex-Juventus strikers Gianluca Vialli, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo by scoring in two derbies in one season.

The Serbia international scored the winner in Juventus’ 1-0 win in October at the Stadio Grande Torino and will be chasing three of his illustrious predecessors in Tuesday’s Derby della Mole at the Allianz Stadium.

Vialli, Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo are the only three Juventus players able to score in two season derbies from two in Serie A.

As highlighted by Eurosport, Vialli was the first one in 1995-96, followed by Higuain more than 20 years later, in 2016-17, and then Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored against Torino both in the Girone d’Andata and in the Girone di Ritorno in his first season in Turin, in 2018-19.

Vlahovic is expected to feature in the Old Lady’s attack today, having started on the bench in Juventus’ 3-0 win over Nantes in the Europa League knock-out play-off last week.

The Serbia international has scored 10 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions this season.
