Juventus ultras at San Siro unveiled a shocking banner against their President Andrea Agnelli wishing his death.
The Old Lady failed to retain the Serie A title for the tenth year in a row last season and is currently out of the top four in Serie A, but the ultras’ harsh feelings towards their patron have nothing to do with results on the pitch.
They exposed a shocking banner during the first half of tonight’s Supercoppa Italiana showdown against Inter at San Siro, which read: ‘Agnelli muori’ (Agnelli die).
Back in 2019, Police arrested 12 Juventus ultras on suspicion of money laundering, violence, and aggravated extortion in connection with ticket sales.
The investigation had begun one year earlier and looked into alleged mafia infiltration into ultras’ ticket touting.
The Bianconeri had been working with authorities in their investigation, and Agnelli admitted hardcore fans had pressured his club.
“Juve have been forced to adhere to the demands of the ultras, aware of the possible negative consequences such as racist chants and other conduct likely to result in fines, bans or closure of the curva,” the patron told prosecutors in Turin in September 2019.
Ultras groups have been banned from the Allianz Stadium since and it’s no coincidence two more banners that read ‘Ultras liberi’ (Ultras free’) were unveiled at San Siro tonight. They were removed before half time.
Agnelli is not at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight as he tested positive for COVID two days ago.

Unfortunately there are really bad elements in the ultras but without them the stadium is dead!
It’s a shame because most of the group’s are really good and do lots of positive things in the community but the ones that are bad should be banned, not all of them!

i am angelli with this one. alot of these ultras are thugs and do more harm that good. they need to be rid from the game.
I have no confidence in ownership that allows someone like Beppe Marotta to leave mid-season and begin working with a hated rival. If you have a winner like Marotta you don’t let him go. Our president must have become tired of winning.
