The Juventus ultras have released a statement celebrating the resignation of chairman Andrea Agnelli, calling it their ‘day of victory’.

Agnelli and the entire board of directors resigned on Monday, leaving the Bianconeri in disarray. The club’s directors have been under investigation for alleged tax fraud and they’ve also been a central figure in the capital gains case. Furthermore, it’s alleged that Juventus secretly paid players salaries during the initial stages of the COVID pandemic.

A collective of Juventus ultras released a statement on social media today, celebrating the resignation of Agnelli, who had previously come head to head with the ultras.

“This is our day. This is the day for those like us who have never stopped fighting even for a second. This is the day of revenge and justice. This is the day we have been waiting for too long. This is the day of our victory. Only ultras always win.”

Agnelli and other members of Juventus’ management came under the spotlight in 2014 after being accused of giving vast numbers of tickets to the club’s ultra groups, some of which allegedly had links to the ‘Ndrangheta, an organised crime group in Italy. It was reported that the ultra groups threatened to chant racist songs if they were not given the tickets.

  1. But will they be celebrating when the Village FC returns to Serie D…

The club should be dissolved. A silly logo that translates into no CL success, the same mistakes and no hope of ever being able to compete or call themselves a big club.

  2. Lord allegri have you thought of getting help for your unhealthy obsession? Did something happen to you in your younger days get help man

  3. I shall worry when I see PhD Max in the local bakery sweeping the floor. Calcio fiesta via the Serie D route is incoming.
