There are reports Juventus are so eager to get Alex Sandro off their wage bill that they could pay him to terminate the contract early.

The Brazilian has dropped down the pecking order under Max Allegri in recent months and is not considered to be part of their plans going forward.

The 32-year-old is under contract until June 2024 and finding a buyer could prove difficult in the current market.

With that in mind, Il Bianconero suggests the club could offer him an early contract resolution, even if it means giving him a €2m sweetener to get the deal over the line.

It represents the end of a long relationship, as Alex Sandro first joined from FC Porto in the summer of 2015.

He was a big investment too, arriving at a cost of €28m and signing his most recent contract in December 2018.

Alex Sandro made just 37 competitive appearances for Juventus this season, contributing two assists.
