USMNT international Weston McKennie could be the key for Juventus to lower Nicolò Zaniolo’s price tag while Alex Sandro and Wojciech Szczęsny could leave Turin this summer, reports in Italy claim.

The Bianconeri are long-time admirers of Zaniolo and according to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants have opened talks with Galatasaray. The Italy international has a €35m clause, but Juventus aim to lower his transfer fee by including McKennie in the deal. According to the report, the USMNT international is ‘appreciated’ by Gala’s entourage.

According to Wednesday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 8) Juventus are also in talks with Empoli for Fabiano Parisi and aim to reach an agreement for an initial loan deal with an option to buy for €12-15m.

The Turin-based paper adds that the Serie A giants are also monitoring Metz’s striker Georges Mikautadze, OGC Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram, Lille winger Timothy Weah and Lyon’s attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki.

The Bianconeri have already secured their ‘first’ summer signing by reaching an agreement for Arek Milik’s permanent return to the Allianz Stadium for €6m plus €1m add-ons.

Juventus will also need to sell some of their players in the summer and according to Gazzetta, Alex Sandro will receive an offer from Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian automatically extended his contract in Turin only a few weeks ago by playing the minimum number of games required for a new deal until June 2024.

Alex Sandro’s exit would allow Juventus to save €12m gross from the final year of the player’s contract in Turin.

The Bianconeri will also listen to offers for Szczesny, according to Il Corriere dello Sport (page 9). The Poland international is a regular starter, but his hefty salary, €6.5m per season until 2025, means Juventus won’t stand against his sale even if they still haven’t received offers for the ex-Arsenal keeper.
