According to Tuttosport, Juventus are in talks with the agents of Rodrigo De Paul and Fabian Ruiz but could alternatively decide to strengthen their attack with Domenico Berardi, Jadon Sancho or Georgiy Sudakov.
Tuesday’s printed edition of the Turin-based paper (page six) claims Juventus owners have decided to sign a reinforcement in the January transfer window to boost their title hopes.
The priority is a new signing in midfield, given that Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli have been suspended. As per Tuttosport, Juventus have already opened ‘informal talks’ with agents of De Paul (Atletico Madrid) and Fabian Ruiz (PSG). The Old Lady is aware that both signings would be pretty expensive as De Paul is valued at €30m while ex-Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz earns €9m gross per season.
Therefore, the alternative is Eduard Spertsyan, 23, who could leave his club Krasnodar for €10-15m in the January transfer window.
Lazar Samardzic (Udinese) has also been followed by the Bianconeri, while other media have linked the Serie A giants with Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips.
As per Tuttosport, the plan B would see Juventus get reinforcement in attack, although Allegri believes the priority for the Bianconeri lies in central midfield.
The likes of Sudakov and Berardi are being monitored at the Allianz Stadium and the same is true of Sancho, especially if Manchester United loan out the Englishman until the end of the season, covering a big slice of his salary.
